Work process: Collecting hand and footprints from people at Feira de Hulene

The group decided to ask people to contour their hand or foot and then asked them to write their story inside the contour.Who are they and why are they at Feira de Hulene?
The work process was difficult. People were suspicious and didn't want to participate. the group learned that to interact with the people they had to take time to explain and also talk about themselves. It was a good way to know their new neighbours.
The material collected was shown on a wall of Feira de Hulene for people to see. It offered an interesting map
of the diversity of people living Feira de Hulene every day. At the same time GTO-Maputo was communicating
for the first time with it's new surroundings.
At the end of the workshop all the groups discussed how this material could be useed in other ways. And how collecting such simple material, made such strong statements and brought surprises.
