This workshop in communication was developed at Cova da Moura (a neighborhood in the outskirts of Lisbon)
with the goal of creating a flyer for the community theatre group DR+K's interactive theatre.
It was developed with the logistic support of GTO-LX (Theatre of the Opressed Lisbon).
I worked with a group of 6 local actors. The goal was to create the flyer in the community.
The theatre play addressed issues that concerned this neighborhood (the financial appeal versus dangers of drug
dealing) and was to be presented open-air at Cova da Moura.
Each participant had to walk around the neighbourhood finding "hidden" letters. I asked them to look
around with different eyes. We walked in the neighborhood as a group and this rapidly turned in to a dinamic
game with a bit of healthy competition in the mix..
who could fing the most unexpected, the coolest letters.. who could take the nicest photos..
In the end we collected all the letters and made our flyer.
